Meta One business plans: prices and key tier differences

Meta One adds paid tools for businesses. Here's what each tier includes, what it costs, and when an upgrade might make sense.

Meta is rolling out Meta One subscriptions for businesses and creators across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Its announcement says the core experience remains free while paid plans add specialized tools. If one of those tools solves a real problem for your Page, paying for it may make sense.

Meta One business tiers at a glance

These US starting prices come from Meta's announcement. The benefits and limits come from its plan-by-plan Help Center guide. Each paid tier includes the one below it; the table highlights what changes. “Missing” does not mean an existing free Page tool was removed.

Meta's Help Center says the rollout is in limited testing. Plans and benefits can vary by region, app, and account. Check the offer shown to your account before deciding.

Facebook Plus is a separate $3.99/month single-product plan for personal Facebook features. It is not the Essential business tier.

Which tier solves a real problem?

Start with the free tools if they cover your work. Essential is worth checking if WhatsApp customer replies or verification solve a specific problem; Advanced if publishing, analytics, or team access are slowing you down. Pick a paid tier for a job you can name, rather than assuming every Page needs an upgrade.

Do you need Expert or Max? Expert starts to make sense if you need more than Advanced's 4 Instagram collaborators or 500 WhatsApp broadcast credits. Max is for a larger operation: more than 8 collaborators, more than 1,250 broadcast credits, unlimited linked Facebook Reels, or frequent human support. Its six-month strategy call is a distinct extra. Check which of these limits you would actually use before paying the extra $350 per month.

What actually changed?

Meta has placed additional professional tools and higher usage levels in subscription tiers. That is a change in what businesses can buy. The announcement does not establish that all previously free Page features have been taken away.

For existing subscribers, Meta says current Meta Verified subscriptions do not change immediately while it works on a migration to Meta One.

Check the work your team does

  1. Customer questions: Where do people contact you, and how long does it take to answer them?
  2. Publishing: Which posts or Stories take effort to schedule or update?
  3. Team access: Who needs to work on the account, and what access do they have now?
  4. Measurement: What decision would you make with exportable analytics or deeper audience insights?

Check the subscription offer on the account that runs your Page. Confirm that the feature you want applies to the app you use, then compare its price with the time or work it would save.
